What is the Snowflake guarantee?
We migrate you to BigQuery and cut your run-rate by at least 20%, measured 30 days after go-live against your normalised previous 12 months. If we miss, Aviato pays you AUD $50,000. Open to enterprises spending AUD $50,000 a month or more on Snowflake, and we confirm your workload qualifies in writing first.
Will our dashboards break during the migration?
No. We run BigQuery in parallel with your existing Snowflake environment. Analysts and dashboards keep running on Snowflake until every pipeline and query result has been validated one-to-one on BigQuery.
What happens to our dbt models and Airflow DAGs?
Google BigQuery Migration Service converts most Snowflake SQL dialect and stored procedures automatically. For dbt, it is an adapter switch. Airflow, Dagster and Fivetran all have native BigQuery connectors.
What access do you need for the assessment?
Read-only access to Snowflake ACCOUNT_USAGE metadata: query history, warehouse events and storage metrics, plus read-only access to AWS or Azure where those are in scope. You also let us connect our assessment tooling. We do not touch production tables or customer data.
Is Google funding available?
Often. As a Premier Partner we work with Google directly on migration funding that can offset the upfront assessment and engineering cost for qualifying workloads. It needs an assessment to confirm.
